Don't Fight Like Cats and Dogs!
We adopted Charlie from Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue in September 2021. We knew that we were about to adopt a dog and our research told us that cats and dogs integrate better if the cat is there first.
In October 2021 we adopted our Golden Retriever Monaco through a not-for-profit organization called Bunnies Buddies. Monaco was rescued from a puppy mill in Korea.
With the help of Nearing Solutions, Charlie and Monaco quickly learned that there was no need for them to fight and they could happily co-exist.
